Joe Kehoskie is a baseball agent specialized in representing baseball players from Latin America.

He will launch his website soon, and he asked me to work on a logo design for him. He requested a simple approach with the JK in Futura Bold. These were my initial designs for him. I also wanted to try a baseball diamond shape, but it didnt look clean enough.

Joe Kehoskie egy baseball ügynök aki általában latin-amerikai játékosokat közvetít az Egyesült Államokba. Nemsokára indul a weboldala ezért megkért, hogy tervezzek neki egy egyszerű logót a JK monogrammal Futura Bold-ot használva. Próbálkotam még a baseball gyémánt ( a pálya alakja) formájával is, de sajnos nem tűnt elég "tisztának" az alakzat, úgyhogy elvetettem.

Very old stuff I just found today. Back in 2000 when I was preparing to try to get to the Academy of Applied Arts, I made these wolf designs based on a very sinister poem by Miklós Radnóti, called: "Like a Bull". Watercolor and sharpie.

Unfortunately I don't know much about science fiction literature, but I'll never forget H.G. Wells' The Island of Dr. Moreau and its wide range of scary beast people roaming the jungle. I have made some drawings of those creatures on paper before, but It was a long time ago. It was just a matter of time to do a personal project based on the book. Now I'll try to make a 30 piece series of the Beastpeople as I imagine them... in vectors.

Sajnos nem sokat tudok a sci-fi irodalomról, de sosem fogom elfelejteni Wells Dr. Moreau-ját és ezerféle dzsungellakó "ember-állatát". Régebben rajzoltam már a könyvvel kapcsolatban ezt-azt, de csak idő kérdése volt, hogy kitaláljak valami személyes projektet a témában. It was my privilege to know someone like Goico. A man truly dedicated to only one thing in the world: his art. Living in a small room with colorful shapes, scripts and sketches on its wall, doing nothing else just two things, painting and talking to to the people passing by. He was not only one of the strangest and most recognized people in modern Dominican art, but also a friend of everybody who wandered to his house on Sanchez street in the Colonial District.

I was his neighbor for 6 months in 2006/2007. I loved to sit on his doorstep and talk about anything and everything with him. He always just came up with the strangest subjects out of nowhere like " ...well, its strange that these days ballet is not the same as before" or " Yoko Ono. That woman did some interesting stuff in the seventies, thats for sure". He always said, that I was like Tevye from The Fiddler on the Roof. He loved to talk about strange theories of politics, social issues and art. Sometimes there were around 10 people sitting around his porch discussing stuff in the evening.

The last time I've seen him was when I last time went to Santo Domingo in January 2008 but I was always asking about him, and he about me until now.

On the photo, he is on his famous doorsteps with a painting I bought later from him.

The little drawing I made for him and he kept it on his wall in his room.

A whole city will miss him. It's impossible to forget someone like him.

Szerencsésnek érezhetem magam, hogy ismerhettem egy olyan embert mint Goico. Valaki aki valóban csak egy dolognak dedikálta az életét: a művészetének. Egy kis szobában élt aminek a falai be voltak borítva apró rajzokkal, írásokkal és szines formákkal. Két dologgal foglalkozott: festett és a járókelőkkel beszélgetett. Nemcsak a modern dominikai művészet legfurább és egyik legelismertebb alkotója volt, de benne egy barátra is talált mindenki akki meglátogatta a Sanchez utcai kis szobájánál az Óvárosban.

Hat hónapig a szomszédja voltam 2006 és 2007 között. Nagyon szerettem délutánonként a lépcsőjén ülni és mindenféle hülyeségekről beszélgetni vele. Az volt a szokása, hogy kis hallgatás után hirtelen a legfurább témákkal rukkolt elő pl. "... hát, azért fura,hogy a mai balett teljesen más mint annak idején" vagy "Yoko Ono, nagyon érdekes dolgokat csinált a hetvenes években az a nő" .

Mindíg azt mondta, hogy szerinte olyan vagyok mint Tevje a Hegedűs a háztetőn-ből, amit viccesnek tartottam. Szeretett hosszasan kifejteni furcsa teóriákat politikáról, kultúráról és művészetról. Néha akár tíz ember is összejött a szobája bejárata elött esténként.

2008 januárjában találkoztunk utoljára, amikor utoljára jártam a Dominikai Köztársaságban, de azóta is hallottam, hogy mindíg kérdez felőlem egészen mostanáig.

Ezen a képen a híres lépcsőn ül egy olyan festménnyel amit késöbb én vásároltam meg tőle.

A kis rajzot neki csináltam és kis is rakta a szobája falára.

Egy egész városnak hiányozni fog. Lehetetlen elfelejteni olyasvalakit mint ő volt.

It's been 20 years since an unknown person stepped in the way of a tank convoy on Tiananmen Square to stop them during a bloody protest for democracy in China. Until this day nobody knows who the "Tank Man" was. I made this little tribute to him.

Let me introduce you the Canadian sports clothing firm Ironhead. They make high quality stuff: tees, hoodies, caps, all with good designs on them. AC/DC and Evander Holyfield are just two of the celebrities who continuously use Ironhead apparel. Its owner is Mike Regan ex-pro hockey player. He contacted me to make some designs for them. I hope its gonna be a long lasting work relationship. 

Had mutassam be a kanadai Ironhead nevű céget. Jó minőségű cuccokat gyártanak: pólókat, kapucnis pulóvereket és sapkákat, mindegyiket jó grafikai elemekkel és viszonylag kis példányszámban. Sok híresség, köztük az AC/DC és Evander Holyfield is rendszeresen fellépnek az Ironhead ruháiban.
